So I'm looking to start something ambitious here...Basically I wan't to swap out the instrument cluster i have for another one with the larger screen and white dial surround (one from a higher model basically).

Now from what I have read online (nothing related to the J though, just older astras) i should be able to purchase the following device:

im confused is there more than 1 type of trip computer on the GTC.the reason i ask is mine only shows 1 piece of information at a time like this

Is there anyone in the north east that can activate trip computer on astra j. Mine only shows mileage, I've been to local dealer and they say they have never done it or even heard of it.

Looking to activate the trip computer on my Astra, anyone in or around the north east able to do it? Its a 2013 Astra GTC sport for reference, or would I be best taking it to my local Vauxhall dealer and would they be able to do it? Cheers

I have noticed loads of different dis-activated lights on my mid-level display, one of which is a light of a fuel pump.

Does anyone know if there is a mpg/trip computer that can be turned on in the mid level J display? I wouldn't see that Vauxhall would put lights and things in there if they didn't do anything.

Hi all, I've got an Astra j 10plate exclusiv and it doesn't show mpg etc. However when you look at the screen you can see that there are things like it there.
I was just wondering if they could be turned on?
Not to worry if not but it would be nice

So I spent some time browsing this forum before joining...probably the best one tbh.


On other forums, I enquired about changing my trip computer from this:

to this minus the eco part:

I did use Vauxcom which added a few menu items, but was unable to achieve the triple info display.

Is this a possibility?
