Is it possible to fit display from cd 400 to cd 300 HU?

the problem is the here in the UK is the CD400 is the lowest spec CD
so the CD 300 is really not common here

the only way you would find out is to plug one in and see if it works
but the HU swap will not be possible without programing hope that helps
