Front fogs and menus off the list

#9
well done and glad my fogs have a new life in your car
#10
Hehe yeah :-p lovie mate, some reason the fogs housing gets alot of condensation in side them even when i dont use then :-/

#11
they shouldn't do are the bulbs in correct and turned nice and tight
#12
Yeah, i did buy new bulbs for them aswell. So they white like my headlights. But i could get them in with the new rubber band around them so i changed the band around.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
#13
that will be the problem may be worth taking the bulbs out and checking the fit again
#14
I changed the bulbs for brand new one all i done was use the rubbers off your old ones on my new ones...

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
#15
but the new bands are for the new bulbs and the standard bands my not fit correctly in the inserts for the bulbs
in the light unit and you may not be getting a good seal
what bulbs did you use mate
and what wattage are they as they may be getting to hot if this is only happening when the fogs are on
if it is happening with out the lights on then i would look again at the seals
#16
Oh right i see, no it happens even when im not using them. So when i go out to car in morning main lights will be fone but the fogs will be steamed up. I will try again with the other seals was really hard though as why i swapped them :-)

#17
you will also need to get the moisture out the unit and that will not be easy
the fogs come out with a bit of effort but the indicators are a pig
#18
Best off pulling the bumper off take them out remove bulbs and allow the unit to dry indoors by a radiator over night if it's all gone by morning all good if not nick the wife's hairdryer and carefully heat them (don't do what my wife did and hold it one place for too long). keep it moving and get air in through the holes.

Once you've got rid of it put the bulbs back in then refit to the car.

well after a trip to rusty and we done the following

We Changed the lower grill on my new facelift bumper from a grill without chrome to a grill with chrome.

looks so much better

While bumper was off change the washer bottle for one with the sensor

Rusty fitted a new mirror module so when I lock car the mirrors fold in, when I unlock car mirrors fold out

Even More Menus - Unit, Coolant Temperature, Relearn Remote Key, Battery Voltage, Timer

So now I have the following;
Information Menu Page - Unit, Remaining Oil Life, Coolant Temperature, Relearn Remote Key, Battery Voltage, Speed Warning
Trip/Fuel Information Page - Trip 1, Trip 2, Fuel Range, Average Fuel Consumption, Instantaneous Fuel Consumption, Average Vehicle Speed, Timer, Speed
