Pet insurance!?
#1
So I want to insure my pet with the lifetime policy so he's covered for ever if he gets an on-going illness. I'm wanting about £5,000 cover a year. I have found it at £25 the cheapest

Anyone with a pet tell me what they get for their money?

It's gonna cost roughly twice as much as house insurance (even taking into account I've already burn the place down once lol)

I have the life cover for £16.00 every 28 days. Will get all details for you.

will dig the company out for ya tomorrow, but bread age etc will make a diffrance in the price, as will chipping and chopping.

Both our cats and my parents cats are covered via pet plan. Not the cheapest but there is no hassle and so far we are still in credit if you take what we pay every year and what they have had to cover. One of our cats has an over bite so has had all sorts of treatment including braces. The other cat has broke its toe and had to see eye specialists due to eye infections. My parents cats has cancer so goes for treatment every few weeks.

Seems like any insurance such as car, one might be cheap for one person but overpriced for another! Just gonna have to keep looking

have you considered leaving the dog in the car
then surely it would be covered

Ah well your just gonna have to stop moaning about what these company's want you wanted a dog now you gotta cough up.

If you have him chopped (think it's from 6 months) and micro chipped that should bring the price down.

But you know what they say you get what you pay for sometimes getting the cheapest isn't always the best.

Mistype lol it's what I meant to say, obviously I'm not gonna pay £108 a month when I can get the same cover for £24, I'm wanting one of the best covers for the cheapest price

Just bare in mind just because they are quoting you £24 per month now next year it may well go up.

Mine started out at £13 but has gone up a couple times.

You lot are useless... mine goes down each year lol

Although note as a dog gets older the premium does increase... my dog is only 4 years old.

Also worth noting some of the cheaper and less well known company's might not be around in a year or two which could leave out of pocket should you need lifetime treatments.

Just swap the dog for a Goldfish. No insurance needed.
