hi all has anybody had a handbrake issue it works fine when my lights are off but when I turn my side dipped and main beam on it stops working mine is the electric handbrake anybody else had this issue it comes on the dash service handbrake until I turn my lights off

Could be a bad ground.

As it's popping up a service message it should store a fault code so would be worth having it read and then we can help you more.

Plug the car in no fault codes so I've change the handbrake switch mines electric and works fine now I think I was a switch problem I'll keep you all up dated
