Hello everyone,

Starting this thread in advance of making any changes to the car to show what it's like as it stands before I do anything to it.

I have a collection on ebay with the items I want to get for the car so just going to work through that as and when I can, at the minute it includes-

K&N panel filter
Number plate lights
Tinited side repeaters
Heko wind deflectors

But I want to change or wrap the wheels, possibly lower it, get a remap, pedal box, hid's and I'm sure il think of more things I want to do.

My first modification however is going to be getting the back windows and the back lights tinted which is booked in for 10am Monday so I will update you all then once that is done!

@Rusty2009 does the smd conversions and all you need to do is replace the parts, no messing with wires really. Footwell lights you'll need to splice into and wire yourself though lol

See I was looking at the cigarette lighter method because I wouldnt want them on all the time they would probably do my head in thanks @Nemo ! I have just been speaking to the insurance about my window and headlight tints along with possibly getting the roof and mirrors tinted, they said its a complete no go for wrapping the roof and mirrors then when I wanted a price for the tints they wanted my policy details but I didnt want to give it to them for the simple fact of me asking questions about it means Im thinking of doing it so if they have my details they send someone round to see if I have had it done and they see its done then my insurance is nulled, so I'm no further forward with it just know I cant do modifications but ahh well its the cheapest quote I have had cant afford any more xD

Haha, well the remote has an off button! I connected them up to my headlight switch so they came on at night.
I could change colour, dim them, brighten them, have them flash or turn them off aha

Going to invest in these I think, they say they can be put either under or in the grill of the car, is the cable long enough to do this or are they just best left internal
Reply

The cable is fairly long, but you can always extend them yourself.

I only used them for internal display, stuffed all the cable under the centre console

Well I have had a busy weekend in the lighting department as having my lights flyeyed made the headlights useless so these were replaced although it's not the best picture it gives something to compare to when you see my drls
[Image: 25997fe22b7cb432f83de0a712897c7c.jpg]

Then Sunday morning I replaced the drls
