does anyone on here add any protection to the underside of their cars, every car ive ever had has been waxoyled.

I have always waxoiled the underside of my cars even the astra j i had
i have not done the insignia yet but i will do at some point for sure.

underseal, protects the underside from rot, rust and rolf harris, ok may not be guarenteed to do the last one lol

its a very messy job, a cheap thing to do at home but id rather pay someone else to get covered in it

Years ago I had a mechanic mate who kept all his old used engine oil and used that to spray the underside of his car. He swore by it.
Can't personally say I have tried it so can't vouch for it's effectiveness.
