Right guys thought I'd start my build thread off although its early days!

Ive owned the car for a year and was completely standard until the other week when i finally got my air fitted.

Endless list of things to do but next is my new alloys once they turn up ?

The road to pvs starts here ?

They're not the lowest kits out there tbf! I have new rear shocks hense the tucking at thw rear! I have 20's wheels on order which will fill it out more.

Also going to be running front and side splitters which will add to the slammed look

Car looks good, wheels look really good, but, to me, its way way too low, however, Im old (47) so thats maybe my age showing
Reply
#34
I don't know what to do next tbh! Needs a seriously good detailing! Think I'm gonna order a front splitter

The greggs is a 10 second walk from my work! I do go twice a day!

The lows aren't to everyone's taste but I respect that

Got a vid of it going up and down? I'd do nothing to be honest, but I prefer the look.

Looks sweet, wish I could've persuaded the wife into a GTC. She used the whole 3 kids, one with autism trump card on me. I even sat in the back to show her the kids would have ample room to fight and throw things at each other but she was having none of it.

Back when I used to sell cars, I had a customer who only ever had three doors with her kid. She said she found it easier to crouch in the rear footwell and put him in the car seat.... I must admit, I have to agree with her. Nothing worse than trying to belt the young one in what there is a car stupidly close to you and your trying not to bang it with your door

Update again!!! ***

Right so i had set aside some time to fit my splitter this weekend. I bought an aftermarket one for a vxr bumper off ebay.

Thought while the bumper was off I'd split it apart and respray my badge. Ended up doing my badge, fog surrounds & grill. Looks a millon times better.

Before

During

(Luckily my mom was away hahah!!

After

Plans for the future

More chrome delete
Looking at custom set up at the front to drop it even more.
Smoothed (debadged rear)
Many many many more expensive things.

Take the front bumper off, it basically clicks in so to take it out theres a little recess in the clip where you can put a fat head screwdriver in and lift it up. At the same time push it out!

Just take your time as they can break!

Looks good but watch for speed bump, kerbs etc... as the splitter will hit anx crack very easily

No I'm booking in for more custom work next month ? The front will sit on the floor after that! Its gotta be one of the worst cars to bag

Took a quick picture at work today ?

Booked in for more work next month, front will be dropped a few more inches.

Next on the list after that is to get the paint up to show spec!

I certainly wouldn't park up next to you... my car would look like something the beverly hillbillies would cruise around in.
