Hi.

I've a 2014 1.3CDTI Astra. Thought aircon needed refilling but realised when I turn it on, the compressor starts and high pressure pipe from compressor gets hot so gas level correct??? However, the radiator fan doesn't start. I don't have vauxhall diagnostics tool so can't check if there are any special astra codes. 4 connections to the radiator, 2 heavier than the others. One heavy connector connected directly to the chassis. I've put 12V on the other heavy connector and the fan runs at full speed. Don't know but I presume the fan comes on when radiator gets hot. 

Should the fan start with the compressor. If it should, what might be the problem. I see 3 fuses assigned to the radiator fan. Anyone know how each works or anyone got a wiring diagram. What are the 2 other wires on the radiator connector, maybe the radiator temperature sensor?
