Yeah, I know what you mean, I've been looking to pay £60 maybe £70, but they seem thin on the ground at that price. plenty of the older ones around though.

I've managed to source one from Poland, and an customer is bringing it back with him next week for me.

There are some more @niteram I just had to pay the guy up front for it so he's not out out of pocket.

Currently found only one on eBay with those part numbers for £102 delivered.

I already have the UBT module with DAB enabled on my DVD800, but I need DAB+. Can anybody say for sure the swap will be plug&play without any reprogramming needed?

You need the radio programmed to DAB+ which involves a VCI

Allright thanks guys. I'll give my local Opel dealer a ring and see if he's willing to do that.
But I'm pretty sure €35 won't be enough, but let's hope it's close to that.

Can I get this VCI programming done even if I still have the old UBT Module?
Will the old module still work the way it's supposed?

it'll cost a little more than the €35.00 as you need to pay the dealership there time too (but it's only a 10 min job for the request & 10 min job to put the VCI in afterwards).

Yes you would have to get them to put in the comments box customer has ordered a U4D module but wants all the programming done ready.

Hi Rusty, stupid question time!!! My car had factory DAB before I installed an Android unit, is this something I would have in my car? If so, where is it, what does it look like and is it something someone would be interested in buying?

Mine's all fitted, but I can't find anyone around here to code it and make it work, just had a service and timing belt done at my local dealer and they couldn't do it (I don't think they really knew what I was talking about) 'cos they said I didn't have the correct wiring or steering wheel controls!? so I'll have to get my arse into gear and find the time for a drive to see Rusty in sunny Bournemouth!! (its only 130 miles each way)

It's under the dash drivers side, pop the pocket out for better access to it you can't miss it if its up there if you had DAB it will be.
If it's a U4D module they are more sought after as they are dab+

I was thinking of putting it on eBay with the cd400 head unit and the GID display for £100. Would this be a fair price?

I wouldn't honestly pay that for it CD400 units are quite common as is the UBT DAB module.

Also you need to bare in mind if someone was buying it to replace their faulty unit it the part number and model year of car would have to match.

When programming SPS checks so many things and can throw up hardware mismatch.

For example, your car is a 2012 MY13 build (62 plate) buyers car is a 2010 MY11 build the radio wouldn't reprogram to their car.

Ok thanks for that, I’ll put them on for less and see how it goes. Some of the breakers advertising on eBay are asking stupid money for the head units and there seems to be a lot of them so I suppose that’s why. Thanks again
