A member asked if a post for abbreviations could be made so please see below.

I'll add them over time, if there is anything you would like added to the list reply & I will add it into the main list.

Car abbreviations

BCM = Body control module

ECU = Engine control module

CIM = Column Integrated Module

2WD = Two Wheel Drive

4WD = Four Wheel Drive or 4X4

AWD = All Wheel Drive

FWD = Front Wheel Drive

RWD = Rear Wheel Drive

ABS = Anti-Lock Braking System

AFS = Adaptive Front-light System

AFL = Adaptive forward lighting 

CVT = Continuously variable Transmission

EBA = Electronic Brake Assist

EBD = Electronic Brakeforce Distribution

ESC = Electronic Stability Control

TCS = Traction control system

PAS = Power Assisted Steering

PHEV = Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle

SUV = Sports Utility Vehicle 

AC = Air Conditioning

ACC = Adaptive Cruise Control

EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation

EPS = Electric power steering

ISOFIX = Isofix is a standard anchoring system for child seats in cars

RDS = Radio data system

DAB = Digital Audio Broadcasting

TPMS = Tyre pressure monitoring system

DPF = Diesel Particulate Filter

NOx = nitrogen oxide

CO2 = Carbon dioxide

Vauxhall computer / programming abbreviations

GDS2 = Global diagnostic system

SPS = Service Programming System

VCI = Vehicle Control Indexing

General abbreviations

TBH = To be honest

IMHO = In my honest opinion

RTFM = Read The Flipping Manual (or the F word that rhymes with ducking)

WTF = What The Flip (rhymes with Duck)

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

CO2 (Carbon dioxide)

DRL (Daytime running lamp or Daytime running light)
CHMSL (Centre high mount stop lamp)
ESP (Electronic stability program)
CAN bus (Controller Area Network)

Hint: Maybe it would be fine to arrange the list alphabetically?
