Any one on virgin media internet?

looking to save money as Sky won't do me a deal after 8yrs custom,

I'm looking at the 50mb broadband package.

last time I had virgin I ended up telling them to take the lot back as the internet was utter crap and that was after 1 month.

don't virgin use cable ?
i can not get virgin or sky internet were i live as no cable has been put in our town
and never will be so i am tied to BT as its the got the best speeds

Yes mate they do.

If you have BT you should be able to get Sky as it runs off the Bt line.

Got 100mb roughly at the minute. Strong reliable signal.

Usually you can get Sky to budge quite a bit on the price you have to make them think you want to leave.

I had to do that a couple of years ago when the box went faulty. Called the normal support line and they said I'd have to buy a new box etc. Called the cancellation line instead and got 2 new boxes and a few other packs added for free.
