I worked in the motor industry most of my life, as Parts Manager, Aftersales Manager etc, but now work for my local council as a maintenance engineer. Much less stress, less hours etc = much better lifestyle

I'm a software engineer but over the past years I studied more of my electronics hobby which now also turned professional. So I design hardware, write firmware and software all the time. We sell LED panels used in many autosports series all over the world. These in their most basic form show a car's position during a race. This is mostly used in endurance events where many cars are lapped and different classes participate on the same grid. Our flagship product is installed in the indycar series where we fully integrate with the car allowing the panels to show gimmicks such as pitstop timers and push-to-pass events.
