16:th-Feb-2016, 14:24:12
Ah I was going to say we have a meet on Saturday in Darlington!
Yeah much more stuck to the road, I had Sri springs before and these are so much better! No rubbing, scraping or nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jody thought you had 19's mate lol? Aw god hope I'm not running or scraping speed bumps everywhere. I should be ok with 20's on right?

Got some steep speed bumps round here plus my drive is on a slope so hoping I'll be ok too lol Was yours 30mm springs baz or 40mm? I've gone for the 30's.
16:th-Feb-2016, 19:17:19
These were 30mm as when I bought them 40mm weren't available.

17:th-Feb-2016, 23:08:01
I honestly prefer mine mate, still no bother with speed bumps either.

Not really uncomfortable, it feels a lot more stable and stuck to road, great round corners too!
Not sure how wheel size effects it. I assume you'd be a little higher up yeah, but maybe rub wheel arch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just realised yours is a gtc lol, 20s are fine and I think Baz had Eibachs and he had no bother with his! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
17:th-Feb-2016, 23:36:29
Yea mate Baz's looks sweet above. Im just hoping mine looks the same
18:th-Feb-2016, 17:11:36

photo hosting sites Anyway does anyone know what nut covers I need ? Apparently there's 2 sizes?? Also best place to get them? I've seen like a set of 20 on eBay for £8 and Vauxhall want £3 each lol Thanks
18:th-Feb-2016, 17:24:39

18:th-Feb-2016, 19:46:50
If it buffs out then you've scored really, still a shame and good of then to admit it!

He hit it with the tyre and there was a black mark there and I went to rub it and he said oh it's just rubber mate. I told him it was gauged he said oh we'll t-cut it out. I made a scene and manager came then and apologised and said the guy would have to pay for it. Said he could knock £125 off or I go and price a respray or polish and go back with a quote. It will def polish out so accepted the £125 off the bill lol. But when checking my wheels I did see he chipped a small bit where the nuts go in the ***** so not happy at all really. But I am glad they sorted the sensors for me with no problem and it does look and feels much better
18:th-Feb-2016, 20:52:45
Ah right I see, but ***** to just try and fob you off at first though! But hey at least it's sorted well nearly!

18:th-Feb-2016, 21:44:52
Wait until tomorrow, they'll have settled properly and you will notice, I can only got one finger between top of wheel and trim lol! Yeah so much better, feels like you're stuck to the road it's awesome

It completlly changes the feel of the drive. although it does feel a bit harsher if thats the word, like coming off a kerb doesnt feel as gentle but just gotta be a bit more careful i guess. with the vxr wheel and knob too it just doesnt feel like the gtc that i started out with lol. Cant wait to jump in and go to work in the morning now which is sad hahaha
18:th-Feb-2016, 21:57:42
Yeah lol, a little harsher but I and been on a kerb since haha! It's awesome going round corners now too! Just need some decent tyres when they need replaced next!
