Does anyone know if these can be changed for the old type that you could adjust with a pin?

Reason is the drivers side always shoots over the car tried adjusting it I can't get any lower, I've also damaged it trying now.

I made a tool after googling it, identical to the one that Vauxhall sell but even that doesn't adjust them as well as I'd thought. It'd be interested to know if your idea is possible Rusty because its a downfall of the Astra J.

it all depends if they will fit in the hole on the scuttle panel it is the drivers side that seems to be badly positioned
i found if you take it out and then push it back in but not all the way it will sit lower and the jet will then hit the windscreen perfectly

I think the new ones are better for motorway driving but round town they are naff.

I did use the tool the dealers use problem is its down as far as it will go.

Tucpal I'd be more worried about it falling out Lol it would just be luck.

it will sit just a few millimeters lower

and then it hits the window and does not fly over the top of the car
the adjuster just will not make the jet go low enough

The H ones fit but I need to get the deflector off so I can clip it in properly.

Your not wrong, the washer jets are awful. I questioned whether they sprayed the windows at all!

Here is a video showing a few different angles for the J & H washer jets needs a little more refinement but overall I much prefer the H ones.
