but the new bands are for the new bulbs and the standard bands my not fit correctly in the inserts for the bulbs
in the light unit and you may not be getting a good seal
what bulbs did you use mate
and what wattage are they as they may be getting to hot if this is only happening when the fogs are on
if it is happening with out the lights on then i would look again at the seals

you will also need to get the moisture out the unit and that will not be easy
the fogs come out with a bit of effort but the indicators are a pig

Best off pulling the bumper off take them out remove bulbs and allow the unit to dry indoors by a radiator over night if it's all gone by morning all good if not nick the wife's hairdryer and carefully heat them (don't do what my wife did and hold it one place for too long). keep it moving and get air in through the holes.
Once you've got rid of it put the bulbs back in then refit to the car.

well after a trip to rusty and we done the following
We Changed the lower grill on my new facelift bumper from a grill without chrome to a grill with chrome.
looks so much better
While bumper was off change the washer bottle for one with the sensor
Rusty fitted a new mirror module so when I lock car the mirrors fold in, when I unlock car mirrors fold out
Even More Menus - Unit, Coolant Temperature, Relearn Remote Key, Battery Voltage, Timer
So now I have the following;
Information Menu Page - Unit, Remaining Oil Life, Coolant Temperature, Relearn Remote Key, Battery Voltage, Speed Warning
Trip/Fuel Information Page - Trip 1, Trip 2, Fuel Range, Average Fuel Consumption, Instantaneous Fuel Consumption, Average Vehicle Speed, Timer, Speed

think the old rear looks better without the chrome
but you should get the rear lower spoiler it sets the rear off nice
