Popped in the Vauxhall dealer last night (Basically trying to get price on a new VXR with most of the options selected) Sales guy started going on with himself when I said I didn't want to pay much more than I already do that there isn't the profit in cars that they used to. This was due to the EU ruling stopped people importing cars from Europe and getting them cheap. He then went on to say he didn't know why they imported them as the cars weren't identical to the British cars as ones that had been made for Britain had better security than their European counter parts.

Sounds like he'd been watching BBC the night before as there was a program where they interviwed the staff at Thatcham who said security on cars bound for Britain is better than on the continent
