I am sure I have this posted somewhere already but couldn't find it... so shall start again!

Car bought August '12 after my Focus was uneconomical to repair & the Vx dealer is next to the Ford one lol

Bought off the showroom floor with Bluetooth, 19s, Premium Lighting pack, upgraded speakers & parking sensors all round which was just how I was spec'ing it anyway:

I do mega miles to get to work so 2 days after I picked up the car, it was in at Air Stream in Chigwell for the front end to be wrapped in Ventureshield:

Then a few days later I took the family down to South France for the week:

Caught some wildlife:

Plate got transferred:

Added some decals:

Took it to Thorney for a 40mm drop on eibach springs:

Then came my custom 17s whilst removing some decals lol:

I too played with Plastidip:

Painted calipers white:

Moved the front plate:

Contemplated an irmscher grill lol:

I have no pics of how the car stands at present but I have no plastidip on the car, the 19s are on (although for sale) & I kept the plate moved with 62k miles on the clock!!!

Yeah, doesn't seem to be any interest in 19s so will put the rest of those spare tyres on to wear them through then get a new set for the 17s - need some black paint to respray the inside of the alloys first too.

100,000 mile service, Cambelt plus water pump and first MOT on Thursday... my baby is getting so old!

Ha I'd rather not have that many miles but the car is dealing with it well... my regret that if it fails lol am half expecting a snapped springs due to pot holes!

That'll be my warranty gone to so fingers crossed.

So £862.22 later my cars had its first MOT, 100,000 mile service, Cambelt change, water pump change, front pads replaced, rear brakes taken apart and cleaned out... its a lot of money but it drives like new.

As I got home...

I love the car but I really don't like the front plate stuck on the side especially whilst theres still the cut out in the middle... If you had the bumper smoothed it might look better

Good work though

You know what I agreed to start with but after living with it for a few months then changing it back, it's really transformed the look of the car and I want it back lol

Agreed about a smoothing it but better things to spend money on and you don't notice it too much.

Good or bad?

My car has done 111,000 miles so get through tyres quick lol and at £240 per tyre I wasn't going to replace them.

It looks more standard obviously but it doesn't look bad. I know what you mean about the 19s but I think they're an awesome looking wheel!

To be honest I like the 19s but most gtc I see have them, I loved the black 17s as they are standard 5dr J alloy in fancy colours, I've only seen one other gtc with this style alloy...

I like to look different, it sits well with the eibach.
