I'm about to change the oil.. is this one correct for my Astra 2013 ST 1.7 tdci 96kw?

Yes you need Dexos 2 GM oil or approved oil. I buy it for around £22.00 for 5 litres in the U.K. Buy it for less than that for 4 trade.

Yes correct oil for 1.7 but you need 5.4L

Or buy 2 x 4 litres, use the extra for topping up. My prev Astra 2.0cdti s/s J used very little between yearly oil changes. My current 2.0d auto tractor uses around 1 litre of oil per 10,000 miles covered. You tend to pay a premium for the extra for 1 litre top ups.

My 2.0cdti uses's nothing in-between services I also bulk buy my oil and as it only uses 4.5L I save 0.5L up for another service.

My sump doesn't lose any oil, it ends up with too much due to failed regens because we only do 10 minute journeys on town roads all the time. Will probably do its 3rd oil change within a year in couple of weeks time to make sure the viscosity is okay and levels are maintained correctly. I may buy gm 93165557 oil this time though.
