Alright lads, a member from AOC (Riots) has asked me if I can post this on here for him, as hes getting no answers on there, Ive directed him to this site but he says hes unable to post for some reason?

upgrading my Astra h CDTI to an Astra j vxr. Just a quick question......
has there been any changes in he spec since it came out in 2012 ???
Will be getting second hand so want to know if I need to get slightly newer or if they are all the same.

As far as I know no other changes but I've not kept up with the spec.

No changes as far as I'm aware. The GTC is fairly new so it's not even subject to a facelift. The only thing that comes to mind for brand new models is a different colour choice

I think the later ones 2015 onwatds came with lane departure and tpms as standard

Tpms as standard on later ones. Only real differences between the ages are as follows.
Original first batch (no supports on the aero pack spoiler) 12 plates really
Center console trim is the same as early elites where it's a carbon effect.
No g force display.
Later model's 62 onwards have supports on the aero pack spoiler.
Piano black trim inside.
G force meter and lap timer.
At some point the colour coded grill changed slightly not sure on the year though.
Late 2014 onwards have a different map or something engine code should be different as well which makes the car euro6 compliant. Drops the tax down one band and the exhaust tips stay cleaner. Other difference on these later ones is the rear seat also loose the center head rest and access hole. Also the center trim changed to silver as well
I think that covers all the differences.

Forgot to add they also have removed the mood lighting from the roof on the later model's not that it makes a big difference
