Hi all
Been looking to somehow get my griffin black and heard plastic dipping would be a good option just wondered if anyone who has done this could give me some insight into the process
Of taking off and dipping etc

Front or back? Glossy or Matt black?
Plastidip is good but need another spray to make it glossy.
I'd take it off and paint it.

Not sure this will fit on yours but looks good

I would remove the rear and paint it.

Any ideas what paint would give it that gloss effect .
And would it be easier to buy and spray a new badge .

buy and spray a new badge it will be easier all round use gloss or Matt paint
even if you were to use plastidip when it is on the car it is not easy at all to peel the insert's out

The Boot badge is not the same as the 5-door badge so make sure it's from a GTC

I Plastidip front grill and rear badge but now have debadged front grill and getting it wrapped gloss black and also the same with rear. If you do go for Plastidip make sure you do plenty of coats evenly as will start to lift in time and the chromed will appear.

Think they are the same. One on eBay cheaper and already painted the correct colour. Would double check if they fit as not 100%
