I bought my vxr brand new in 2015, half leather, CD400 but it did come with the Aero pack

it stayed like that for a few months, I just added mudflaps, my private plate and removed the vxr badge - this stopped tailgaters instantly

Then I found a 2016 vxr being broken for spares at a local breakers, so it would be rude not to buy the full leather interior, Navi 950 set up, reversing sensors, a spare wheel and a few other bits and pieces

The Navi 950 took a while to install, I had to drop the headlining to fit the Sat Nav aerial and cables, remove the entire dashboard to replace the dash loom and then get Rusty to work his magic with some VCI coding

colour matched the aerial, I didn't like the OEM black

I forgot to mention the 2016 vxr had Intellilink, so that was a bonus and it's fully functional in mine too

I also prefer the Opel badges to the Vauxhall badges, so they got swapped along with an Opel Airbag. I also fitted an offside Euro tailgate light unit, so they both match. This required a red led bulb for the foglight and a little rewiring of the small loom.

Next job was the rear view camera and power fold mirrors

My latest mod - a pair of brand new LED drl headlights. AFL or Xenons require a VCI, which is not allowed, so these are the Halogen type.

Wow! Where did you find those headlights? They are really like OEM afl.

Rusty worked his magic and the rear camera is now OEM, rather than using the interface box and wiring

They are OEM headights, not aftermarket. Not AFL, not Xenon => Halogen light units with the LED drl, plug and play

They are OEM headights, not aftermarket. Not AFL, not Xenon => Halogen light units with the LED drl, plug and play

They look awesome! Where did you buy them? Do you have a part number? I'm really interested in these headlights.
Could you post some pictures? With them on in different modes?

I bought a pair of brand new GTC headlights, then cut the lenses off and added the DRLs, wiring and controllers from a pair of GTC xenon headlights. I painted the chrome black and bonded the lenses back on.

The DRLs have two light settings, same as on a xenon car

So all you need is a pair of xenon headlights for the parts and a few hours work.

ps: cover the lenses with tape to protect them whilst cutting them off

Nice work, but I don't have knowledge to do that :(
The chrome looks much better in black.
