So I've been here long enough and I've not even done a progress thread!
The model I went for was the Vx-Line 2.0cdti SRi in white which I got mid 2015 and I fell in love with it instantly despite not having any extras on it except for parking sensors.
The day I got it:
I started doing subtle changes to it such as alloy pedals, new floor mats:
I then moved onto lighting including LED number plate lights, LED DRLs, white dipped beam and interior LED upgrades:
Then I had it tinted and I also installed multicoloured footwell lights:
Fitted Team Heko wind deflectors - ended up taking them off after a couple of weeks due to the wind noise and the moisture coming in:
I got pressed plates and Irmscher plate holders
I even changed the brake calliper colour to red:
I installed door card LEDs and added strips to the pockets of the front doors:
Extra boot light:
And then came the devastation of it being written off!
But not all hope was lost... for I bought another J exactly the same but with extras!
This one includes heated leather seats, bluetooth, sat nav and it was already tinted which I'm happy about (the misses wasn't happy about the sat nav part as she'd actually bought me an expensive TomTom for Christmas which she had to return!)
First thing first was to get rid of those mucky yellow candles that VX call headlights:
I got some mats made up with the forums website on them and installed some alloy pedals that I got from
@cornishtaz (cheers Baz!)
Upgraded interior lights whilst I was it:
Next I followed the guide by
@Tucpal on upgrading my Nav 600 to Nav 900 which has a much better display and has speed cameras which is handy!
Then after that I had to fit aftermarket reverse parking sensors as this one didn't come with any. So with a lot of help from
@sheppy1 - and I mean a lot - and following his guide on the forum I managed to finally get them installed, it only took me all day...
(Car hasn't been cleaned since so I've got no after pic)
Got my club stickers too!
Next jobs for my J number 2 are as follows:
- LED DRLs (parts on the way)
- extra boot light (on its way)
- centre console and door trims change
- projector upgrade
- possible remap
- brake calliper colour change (fancy a different colour but not sure on what)
- possible lowering (on the fence with this one as I believe the SRi is already lower than standard)
- LED brake & reverse lights
- footwell lights (on the way)
- full LED conversion to blue, all the SMDs are ordered just waiting for installation
(Sorry about the length)

Properly love your car mate!! It's the bomb! Ha. Also had already seen a lot of your mods from various posts and chatting to you bit it's great to see them all in one post and see the story behind your car and mods .
Great list of upcoming ones too! Will be closely following your thread and chatting to ya to see how you're getting on... May copy you too for some of the stuff I've never been able too do like brake calliper colour etc.
Keep up the awesome work!!

New additions to the car, footwell lights (multicoloured) and a blue LED conversion including door card LEDs. Only things not converted are steering wheel controls, roof lining unit and the EPB button

Took my car to the garage to have the drivers electric heat sorted. Got a call midday at work "yeah we've got the wrong part for your car, we've ordered the adapter module but it's actually the heated elements we needed"
So now I've gotta wait ages for them to contact the other garage, order the part and then book me back in

Done a couple of things mainly got a flat bottomed bi-turbo wheel, debadged the car and gave it a detailed wax
Only remembered to take pics at night but still shiny even at night

remove it from the car start at the top and use a hair dryer to stretch the vinyl and shape it may take a few goes
if you are new to wrapping

Attempted the wrap... was not successful in the slightest.
In other news I've upgraded to factory LED headlamps
Also installed an insignia gear stick, much thicker and fits better in the hand.
And as always got a good snap of the car to finish it off
