Wow! That was a bit of a mess considering it was new wasn't it! Did it need to be primed them or was it primed and ready to go when it arrived?
I do like it though! Looks sportier now! I like the rdx diffuser but heard bad things about that with regards to how it poorly fits to the car

@sheppy1 it needs primed, it wasn't until it was primed that all the imperfections showed up. So needed sanding and filled then primed and painted.
@DNT car is filthy at the moment so haven't took any. Will try and remember to get some tomorrow bud!

Nice spoiler there Tonto. Car looks just as dirty as I remember it.
Had a flying visit to your neck of the woods last month for my dad's birthday. Sorry no time to make contact. Nice people at the airport gave me a new A5 to drive around for the day. Nice car, not sure about the sline suspension though.

Makes a massive difference to the profile of the car, looks far sportier which ties in with the lowered suspension.

Kevin J Tabrah is selling gloss black 19" Biturbo alloys, in mint condition with brand new tyres for £650 ono. It's a lot of cash, but lets say for £600 you get genuine Astra alloys and new tyres, tyres alone are probably £250.

There was a guy on eBay selling 20" biturbo alloys for same money with decent tread on tyres. Surely a better deal than 19"?

@J1ODYA not sure I like the look of 20s on a 5door. I think 19s would be biggest I'd go personally.

Biturbo and VXR alloys have polished spoke fronts, if they are scratched up they cost a lot for refurbishment as leaving them causes corrosion. So, you can go for 20's that are probably marked up with decent tread or 19" new refurbished with new tyres. On a 5 dr J I reckon 19's offer the best option of style & comfort over 20's. The price of tyres has to be taken into consideration also with 19's generally being the cheaper option.

Done the service myself and the car still runs so I'm happy. Now just to book my MOT in before end of the month.
My next mod has came in the way of the vx line gear knob. Bought it yesterday off Michael Dolan on our Facebook group and as I'd somehow put my mothers postcode instead of my own I went to the post Office Depot this morning and they found it for me. So while sitting outside of the depot I swapped them over!
It makes a huge difference and feels so much better! Next to find a BiTurbo steering wheel!!

No need to add extra wires for button light?

Thanks mate
There is a how to on here mate, I used the loom that is behind glovebox that goes up the A pillar. Splice into the thickest grey wire (should be 3 grey wires) and then a black wire for ground.
Touch up pen was just of eBay. Around £7-8 iirc.

They come on when you unlock/open doors then go off once doors close. If you turn on interior lights they come on too.

I dry fitted and rigged my LEDs up last night to 2x6v batteries and went for a drive in the dark, they looked great but found them distracting to drive with them permanently on and could see the reflection of my trainers in the side window whilst driving. So yeah Im pleased I tried before hooking up to permanent ambient centre console light.

Yes mate, 6 screws or so on the air filter housing to remove too half and then swap filters over. I've cleaned it twice in the 1 1/2 year it's been in. Probably doesn't need cleaned as often but why not lol.

Very nice progress mate. Does the K&N panel filter make any difference? Does it give it few extra bhp rather than a grunty noise a full induction kit?
I'm torn between buying a panel filter, or getting an induction kit
