Strange one - Cameron UK - 13:th-Sep-2014 So I've done the rear led a upgrade a while ago but today I noticed that the rear drivers side tail lights are on when no longs are turned on. The 2 on the main body are on and the one on the boot, they work correctly on side light and main beam. What could be causing this? Strange one - Kevin - 13:th-Sep-2014 Disconnect the DRL bulbs. Maybe they are causing the power to crossover to the sidelight circuit, so causing the power to backfeed itself to the tail lights Strange one - Cameron UK - 13:th-Sep-2014 Kevin Wrote:Disconnect the DRL bulbs. Strange one - Kevin - 13:th-Sep-2014 Check to see if things are back to normal. If they are, then it will be something up with the DRL bulb. Swap it with a new one Strange one - Cameron UK - 13:th-Sep-2014 Kevin Wrote:Check to see if things are back to normal. If they are, then it will be something up with the DRL bulb. Swap it with a new one I've got load resistors on the front light as they are led, Strange one - Kevin - 13:th-Sep-2014 Unplug the DRL first, it could be something has melted in the led causing the power to flow from the DRL circuit into the sidelight circuit. I'm just taking a stab in the dark here, obviously Strange one - Cameron UK - 13:th-Sep-2014 tucpal any ideas? Gonna give that a try kevin Strange one - tucpal - 13:th-Sep-2014 as said by kevin unplug the drl and see what happens then check the bulbs in the rear may be a faulty bulb some were |
