Is this covered under warrenty - richje100 - 3:rd-Jul-2014 Hi guys, not sure if a ball joint is playing up. Steering doesn't feel very secure (might be my mind tho!!) and going over speed bumps makes a thud sound. Cars in for service tomorrow for a 2nd service which they class as a major service so wondered if they check joints and if found to be knackered will replace. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Is this covered under warrenty - tucpal - 3:rd-Jul-2014 maybe in the first few months but after 2 years not likely mention the problem when it goes in and see what they say but i will take a guess and they will say its fine Is this covered under warrenty - richje100 - 3:rd-Jul-2014 Ye they prob say its wear and tear. Shouldn't be too expensive if they are shot anyway. On a different note, vx offered a clean out of all old oil and clean the fuel lines inc injectors for £18. They just going to use redex for the fuel ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Is this covered under warrenty - tucpal - 3:rd-Jul-2014 they do an engine flush before the oil change if you pay extra about £50 but injector cleaning will be something they throw in the fuel for that price Is this covered under warrenty - richje100 - 3:rd-Jul-2014 She said its to clean all old oil deposits throughout and cleans fuel lines and the injectors for £18. I'll double check with the guy who picking up the car tomorrow. Most likely there way of screwing an extra £18 out of you. And the chap who comes to pick the car up wont have a clue as he's just a driver |
