How for the following switches

EPB switch

Tools required
7mm socket
T20 driver
Rachet
Small screwdriver
Qty 1 PLCC-2

Using the info in Tucpal thread remove the Centre console and EPB switch

Once switch is removed

Split switch using these tabs

The LED to be changed is in blue. To make it easier I removed the lefthand switch(3 connections underneath)

Roof console

Tools required
T20 driver
Small screwdriver
Qty 1  PLCC-2 sideled

Sorry no pics
Remove the bezel around the interior light
Remove the 2 exposed screws and remove the roof console
Release the electrical connector
Remove the interior light from the roof console

Once light is removed remove the clear tubing

Then bend these copper tabs (carefully)

There are 2 small tabs holding the PCB in

PCB LED for the switches circled red. I also added ambient lighting(early models may already have this my 13 plate didn't) You need to add a 2nd PLCC-2 sideled in the yellow circle and qty 3 619R smd resistors circled in blue

This is where the 2mm hole needs adding

They'll be fine, different seller to were I got mine. I used the same seller as the led's this one is from overseas

Yeah I looked at your link but as I changed the rear light to so it matches the front I would need 6, this link is for 100.

the chap who does the 0805's is doing me a 10% discount on the LEDs.

Hi baz, might just be me being stupid but what do I need to change just the switch colours? Do I just change the one circled red?? Can you send me a link to the led in red please.

Yes mate just the LED circled in red. There is a link in the items required above, its the same as what is used in the gear surround

Sorry for bumping this old post.

I need help with ambient roof lightning.

I bought same resistors from the link (619R)

But on pcb i have different resistors. this 619r are smaller then other. On them is mark 5110. Those should be 511R??

The only thing I can think is Vauxhall changed the resistor for some reason. The ones I listed were the ones on the panel I removed from my 13 plate VXR

I will take picture tomorrow.

But if i'm getting it right. 0805 marks the dimension of the resistor.
So i need to measure mine and check with this table? i hope Big grin

Yes 0805 is the size I'll have to double check the size

Just remeasured the resistor and appear to be 1206 size

Size should be as well 1206. So should i buy 1206 511R resistor or some other?

This is my pcb it looks like Vauxhall changed the resistor value.
