Astra 1.6 CDTi Turbo Issues P2598 - shaky411 - 11:th-Sep-2021 HI Everyone, Hopefully someone here can help me? I have a 2015 Astra J 1.6CDTi. The engine management light came on a few weeks back after an hour or so driving and car went into low power mode. Managed to get the car home and after a night on the drive the power was back, engine light still on. Eventually the engine light went away but the same error came back a week or so later. Plugged in a cheap code reader and got P2598. Took the car to Vauxhall who said the turbo had failed and needed replacing. Turbo replaced and the car was running great for a couple of weeks. Done a 4 hour drive and on way home, the old issues came back. Engine light and low power. Again, managed to nurse the car home with the power coming back intermittently. Code P2598 is back.
