2.0 CDTi Auto Gearbox Oil Change - Dennis S - 13:th-Aug-2021 Just a quick note to say that last week I had my auto transmission oil changed on my 2.0 CDTi Astra at 90,000 miles. I've had the car 5 years. Although the car was driving ok with no real problems I had wondered if a transmission oil change would improve it. Got the transmission oil changed at the local Vauxhall dealers, cost me just over £80. Noticed an immediate improvement in the way the car drives. It changes up quicker, holds onto a higher gear for longer before changing down. Feels like it's making better use of the engine's torque. Smoother altogether, should have got it done years ago. Would recommend it to anyone who might be considering getting it done. |
