Changed stereo, infotainment stopped working - NELLY1996 - 10:th-Jun-2021 Hello everyone, Apologies if this has been posted before but I've done tonnes of searching and can't find a similar problem to mine. Basically I have changed the stereo (cd400) in my Astra J 1.6CDTI 136, to a Sony head unit. After I changed the head unit the infotainment system doesn't work, but it gets power as there is a back light on the unit. I have the Panasonic LCD display and I retrofitted the old 4 line "8 bit" style unit and both have the same problem. I followed Rusty2009's guide from this website to fit the stereo and even had multiple people at Halfords stumped from this problem. I've tried the universal patch lead, the Sony specific patch lead. The old style connects2 box without the dipswitches and none of this has worked. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
