Astra J Keyfob range - Arkanggel10 - 12:th-Dec-2020 hi guys My keyfob and spare normal key has very short range to unlock/lock vehicle. i must be within 2m from car to work. Already replaced both battery's is there anything that i can try in order to fix this issue? thanks RE: Astra J Keyfob range - Rusty2009 - 15:th-Dec-2020 There is nothing in terms of an aerial there could be other interference causing the issue. I know on the Meriva there was an aerial used to extend the range but on the Astra they used a different set of component's where by you can't. Astra J Keyfob range - Multiskilled - 16:th-Dec-2020 Could be a blessing in disguise, a couple of times I found the car unlocked in the morning (know I locked it previous night), when I accidentally pressed the key in my pocket in the house, once with front windows half rolled down.
