High Idle 1.7 cdti - Cossie - 26:th-Aug-2019 I have a problem with high idle. I replaced the scv this weekend but still the same problem. It's not constant but sometimes idle goes to constant 1,200 even when engine is hot. If I switch car off and restart again it goes to high idle. From some reasearch someone mentioned alternator problems could some shed some light on this problem please ? Scv rotation position does it make a difference ?
