Service parts List - Rusty2009 - 14:th-Aug-2014 Prices very form dealer to dealer so it would be impossible to get it right. Service parts List - tucpal - 14:th-Aug-2014 agreed it is hard to find a consistent price Service parts List - Gilmore - 15:th-Aug-2014 Baz and myself are compiling a list of the items used at service this will include part number and prices where applicable ah ok i just read that sentence, what about an approximate price so people know what to expect, especially for the expensive stuff like the timing belt kits, example, - 1.7 timing belt kit, - expect to pay around the £200 mark Service parts List - Rusty2009 - 16:th-Aug-2014 I guess what I could do is put Autovaux prices up, they sale all new genuine parts most of cheaper than dealers even after they've added the postage, and there customer service is great. Yeh that would be good Service parts List - Rusty2009 - 26:th-Sep-2014 Update sat in dealers now they are complaining that no part numbers are on the service despite having receipts showing all genuine parts. They have said all part numbers must be written on the service sheet or Vauxhall will reject extending the warranty. Sent from my iPhone 5c using Tapatalk. Service parts List - richje100 - 1:st-Oct-2014 Rusty2009 Wrote:Have you emailed them? Ye just a few mins ago. Looking at the disc and pad kits for vaux genuine parts it's really cheap about £50 albeit they where suited for an insignia hoping my astra will be the same!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Service parts List - Rusty2009 - 1:st-Oct-2014 Cool I always deal with Kieron from Autovaux. Service parts List - richje100 - 1:st-Oct-2014 I called vx dealer today to get a price but mainly see what size discs are on the front. Even though the parts list in here say 300mm I've been ask if it's 300mm or 280 something CPA my reg bring up both. Probably sound like a stupid question but my tyres are (I think) 225 50 17. Thought the 17 is the wheel size? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Service parts List - Rusty2009 - 1:st-Oct-2014 Yeah the 17 is wheel size in inch. Thanks Baz for posted the sizes. Sent from my iPhone 5c using Tapatalk. Service parts List - richje100 - 1:st-Oct-2014 So, I got 17inch wheels or I got the wrong tyres on lol. I've been asked 15 or 16 inch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Service parts List - Rusty2009 - 1:st-Oct-2014 If you've got 17" tyres you got 17" wheels Sent from my iPhone 5c using Tapatalk. Service parts List - richje100 - 1:st-Oct-2014 Lol. Last one, why have I been asked if I have 15 or 16 inch wheels. Does the same disc and pads fit 16,17 etc......? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Service parts List - tucpal - 1:st-Oct-2014 This is confusing but they will say 15 or 16 wheels when asking for disc and pads no idea why but it does not go on your alloy size the dealer will give you the correct size disc when you give them your reg i am sure the 17 inch alloy is actually the 15 wheel size they ask for Service parts List - richje100 - 1:st-Oct-2014 I asked the dealer when he priced me on the brakes and said his computer is saying 300mm so it must be these ones. Thanks everyone for your input, baz thanks for the sizes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Service parts List - tucpal - 1:st-Oct-2014 the 5 105 are the smaller disc and the 5 115 are the larger disc on the front Service parts List - tucpal - 1:st-Oct-2014 the smaller disc is 5.105, 276mm so the 5.115, will be 300mm on the front that is the one you want Service parts List - richje100 - 1:st-Oct-2014 Cheers tucpal, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Service parts List - richje100 - 3:rd-Oct-2014 Just a quick update if anyone has same car as mine - Kieron at autovaux can do gm genuine discs and pads for £140 or delphi for £120.
