MPG really low - R4hulb - 2:nd-Apr-2018 Hi, I have a 1.6 auto SRi and the avergage MPG doesn't get any higher than 22 which is really low. Driving it as efficiently as I possibly can. Can something else be wrong? Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk RE: MPG really low - vocky - 2:nd-Apr-2018 poor fuel consumption can be caused by a faulty MAF sensor or lambda sensor RE: MPG really low - R4hulb - 2:nd-Apr-2018 (2:nd-Apr-2018, 09:00:55)vocky Wrote: poor fuel consumption can be caused by a faulty MAF sensor or lambda sensorThank you I'll have it checked out Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk RE: MPG really low - andyp - 2:nd-Apr-2018 (2:nd-Apr-2018, 09:05:45)R4hulb Wrote:(2:nd-Apr-2018, 09:00:55)vocky Wrote: poor fuel consumption can be caused by a faulty MAF sensor or lambda sensorThank you I'll have it checked out Hi my manual 1.6 is returning around 35mpg don't drive it like I stole it and am never stuck in traffic much, makes no difference if I put in 95 or 99 octane, just don't think they are that economical mind you if that's what I wanted should have brought a diesel RE: MPG really low - R4hulb - 2:nd-Apr-2018 (2:nd-Apr-2018, 11:59:34)andyp Wrote:Yeah I checked online and on guides. 21 surely isn't right though. Best I ever got was 38mpg on a run with sensible driving I now have 2.0cdti RE: MPG really low - Big Dave2 - 3:rd-Apr-2018 (2:nd-Apr-2018, 11:59:34)andyp Wrote: Hi My 2.0 CDTi auto only does around 37 mpg. So not much better than your petrol engine. RE: MPG really low - Jpbroad1970 - 3:rd-Apr-2018 ive got average of 53 on my 2.0 cdti manual RE: MPG really low - rlievens - 3:rd-Apr-2018 Jpbroad1970 Wrote:ive got average of 53 on my 2.0 cdti manual WHAT?? You only drive downhill and then push it uphill yourself? I get about 35mpg with my 1.7 diesel. Which i think sucks but is an average with this car. When I get on the motorway though I can easily get it in the high sixty’s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: MPG really low - Dennis S - 7:th-Apr-2018 My 2.0 CDTI Auto Tourer never gets much above 37 mpg either. A bit disappointing for a fairly modern car. It's the best mpg I will ever get without driving 90kph in 6th RE: MPG really low - vocky - 9:th-Apr-2018 my vxr averages 26 mpg, so a 1.6 should do better that that ! |
