You do a swap on the 1.6 to a 1.4 turbo or is it too much work as I love the astra but want a turbo can't change car as tied in to mine

I had this issue but I wasn't tied to my car.
I had 1.6 elite lovely car but slow and crap on fuel.
Went for a 2.0d instead now I really like the car.
Engine swap was far too expensive

Yeah wouldn't be worth it as above as you would need new engine as you said also intercooler, turbo solenoid, looms to accommodate and also a good bit of programming to tell the ecu it now has a turbo etc for Watergate controls so wouldn't be worth it to be honest.
