Retrofit heated steeringwheel - Hummelshøj - 23:rd-Sep-2017 Does anyone know how much is needed for retrofitting heated steeringwheel. Obviously the heated steering and another heatercontrol with button for heated steeringwheel. Does it need coding and wires. I have a 2012 GTC 2.0cdti RE: Retrofit heated steeringwheel - Rusty2009 - 23:rd-Sep-2017 IIRC it doesn't need coding but a new quib is also needed. RE: Retrofit heated steeringwheel - Hummelshøj - 23:rd-Sep-2017 Sorry What is a "quib" Retrofit heated steeringwheel - Rusty2009 - 23:rd-Sep-2017 The quib is the bit behind the steering wheel which has all the wires in to stop them breaking when the wheel is turned. Now I know what the quib is. Seen some heated steeringwheels, But not many around. RE: Retrofit heated steeringwheel - Big Dave2 - 25:th-Sep-2017 Surely easier to just wear gloves when it's cold RE: Retrofit heated steeringwheel - Hummelshøj - 25:th-Sep-2017 (25:th-Sep-2017, 11:56:43)Big Dave2 Wrote: Surely easier to just wear gloves when it's cold And definitely cheaper also |
