Problem with DRL - mw2299 - 18:th-Sep-2017

Hi guys

I have an issue with my Daytime Running Lights. When the light switch is set for just the DRLs, the passenger side's DRL doesn't work at all. If I switch to the park/side lights, they work fine (and are dimmed as they should be). If I switch to dipped beam, then both the DRLsĀ are on along with the dipped beam. Could it still be the bulb or is it something else?

The bulb is due filament so sounds like the drl filament is gone

Even though when I have my dipped beam on, the passenger DRL then works fine?

It's not your DRL it's your sidelight.

DRL's are only one when the lights are off.

Turn to sidelight the DRL dips down to the lower filament in the bulb (DRL go's off)

Switch to dipped beam sidelight stays on and dipped beam come on (DRL remains off).

Right, okay. I'm following now. I was thinking of getting some better bulbs anyway, as these are extremely yellow. Thanks for your help
