RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - DNT - 9:th-May-2015

Didn't want to open a new thread about a silly question....
Any ideas how to unplug throttle connector? Is there a clip I should press? I ve been trying for about half an hour but with no luck.... there is not much room back there
Here are some pics of the connector

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - Rusty2009 - 9:th-May-2015

The red tab pulls out mate if you have a small flat head there is a cutout on the bottom or top which you put it in to help pull it out.

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - tucpal - 13:th-Jan-2016

there is a set here mate

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - sheppy1 - 13:th-Jan-2016

Only issue is they look the part...but the little bit of rubber that comes through those holes wears down quite quick I've found and then you're stuck with no grip! Nothing else to do them but get rid of them I think...

Yup they were the ones in my edit lol. Still interested in the ones @rusty2009 was on about though as hey are cheaper

@sheppy1 - haven't had that problem yet mate. I took the set out of my old GTC before this one and they were 3 years old and are still as good as new when I put them in this one. Plus I took my silver door pins lol!!

Is he the one in the astra H owners group? is he selling the J pedals or the H mate? thanks for the heads up.

No worries mate found him in the astra etc owners group. is he trust worth? as i see he only takes bank transfers, which of course gives no protection.

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - Doraemon02 - 12:th-May-2016

Hi there lads,

As some of you may know I'm from Portugal, as so my Astra J Sports Tourer is Left Hand Drive.

I didn't know that the accelerator pedals were different from LHD to RHD, and because of that I've bought a set of this from Michael Dolan on Facebook (he was a great by the way!).

But now the accelerator cover doesn't fit on mine accelerator pedal :(

Do you know if I can swith the LHD pedal to a RHD pedal? As I can find loads of them on ebay!

Is there a reason to the pedals be different??

Thanks!

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - Doraemon02 - 14:th-May-2016

Anyone can help me with this?

I can't find on the internet if the pedals are equal or not ?

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - tucpal - 14:th-May-2016

They should not be I would have thought

Alloy vxr pedal covers - Rusty2009 - 14:th-May-2016

I could be wrong but I think the tourer has a different accelerator pedal to the hatchback

Won't let me send a PM. Are you still selling sets of pedals?

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - M1C VX - 6:th-Aug-2016

Yes. Still got them. £30 delivered
I don't have PayPal.
Bank transfer or collection from Glasgow

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - gregj - 7:th-Aug-2016

Collection from Glasgow would suit depending where about you are.

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - M1C VX - 7:th-Aug-2016

G75 OBH is nearest landmark.

RE: Alloy vxr pedal covers - h4r7y - 1:st-Sep-2020

I've just got hold of a set of these but the accelerator one is a bit worrying as on the left top edge, the rubber sticks out slightly as theres nowhere for it to slot into, just won't sit flush. Is that normal?
