GTC Rust - Dan1992 - 7:th-Jun-2017 Hi all, I have a 2015 GTC 1.6 CDTI has anyone else had a problem with rust on the roof line between the front windscreen and roof line? I've had two GTC's, current one a 2015 VXR from new, previous a 63 plate 1.6T, both no rust at all. RE: GTC Rust - Big Dave2 - 8:th-Jun-2017 Unless things have changed: Paint warranty - 12 months from 1st registration. Anti perforation warranty - 6 years from 1st registration. Some Vauxhalls used to have up to 10 year and 12 year warranties. Seeing as neither apply to your problem (car is over 12 months old, and the panel hasn't perforated) then no, it won't be covered by Vauxhall. And, the vehicle has to be inspected annually, and book stamped on the appropriate page in the service book for the warranty to be vaild.
