abs fault - custardsastra - 18:th-Mar-2017

hi all here we go again

i have a esp service now light on with fault code C0045-5a rh wheel speed sensor circuit- not plausible

i have change the wheel sensor as it was my first choice and still no luck as when you first pull away light goes out then hitting about 20mph light is back on which is correct so after some reading it seems it could be the encoding ring at fault which i feel is a poor design as its built into the wheel bearing

has anybody got any ideas as what next to look at i did think of cleaning the ring but to remove then clean it i might as well change it

thanks for any help

ooops sorry its c0040-5a

Could be the hub sensor, if this gets worn it struggles to read the wheel rotation and throws up abs faults.
