Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: dpf removal and remap on a17dte? - tucpal - 1:st-Dec-2016 carbon is recycled and sent back through the turbo etc and this is not good for performance the EGR may be a great idea for lowering exhaust emissions by recycling the exhaust gasses but this also means the car is using dirty carbon filled air recycled from the exhaust and pushed back through the turbo carbon and oil deposits build up in the inlet manifold swirl flaps EGR valves get clogged with carbon and stick open turbo vains get dirty and gunk will build up in the intercooler by deleting the EGR you are then using clean air from the air filter all the time keeping the engine clean and breathing better this will also increase the BHP most claim 10 to 15 bhp just by getting the EGR mapped out. |
