Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 23:rd-Jun-2016 I know i cant get them to load ffs it says choose file and add attachment but it doesnt do anything RE: Progress thread - mrtc - 23:rd-Jun-2016 Download tapa talk on your phone, a lot easier to post oics using that, I use tapa talk on my mobile and my tablet for normal desktop vxoc, RE: Progress thread - WoZLinGToN - 23:rd-Jun-2016 You don't want to attach photos using the attachment button, download photobucket on your phone or go to the website and make a free account. You can then host your pictures on there and copy the link to them, so quick and easy to use. Look forward to seeing the pics RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 24:th-Jun-2016 Hope this works! In case anyone was wondering why u have no badge on the front grill RE: Progress thread - mrtc - 24:th-Jun-2016 That is awesome RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 24:th-Jun-2016 I've also changed the plastic door pins for these ones
RE: Progress thread - mrtc - 24:th-Jun-2016 Need the rest pedal as well RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 24:th-Jun-2016 Must look into that lol i take it you glue it on? RE: Progress thread - andy2174 - 24:th-Jun-2016 Looks really good RE: Progress thread - hejhopp123 - 24:th-Jun-2016 Nice car I am jealous. =) What are your rims named? They are a dark gun metal colour. Think i will probably change them in the future but not yet Changed the side repeaters for smoked ones i got on ebay but im not convinced about them, i thought they would be darker ones so might change them again.
There is definately a difference when you hold the old ones up to the smoked ones but when you look at car without then i dont think theyre dark enough
RE: Progress thread - tucpal - 25:th-Jun-2016 they do look alot better RE: Progress thread - stigeye - 25:th-Jun-2016 I am not sure if those alloys (same as mine) have an official name as all I have ever found when searching for them is '19" 10 double spoke alloy wheel' RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 25:th-Jun-2016 (25:th-Jun-2016, 01:00:52)tucpal Wrote: they do look alot better Thanks! Maybe if the car was white they would look darker lol RE: Progress thread - stigeye - 25:th-Jun-2016 You could look into getting vxr side repeater and surrounds, they look nice on the astra j. RE: Progress thread - stigeye - 25:th-Jun-2016 This is what the vxr side repeater look like on an astra... this is the same look that I'm aiming for eventually, with the same wheels and caliper colour. Class lookin, like the blue on the front! You can put any colour you want with the black. I like the shark fin aswell defo something i want to change on mine but ive only standard cd400 so dont know if its compatible RE: Progress thread - stigeye - 25:th-Jun-2016 The sharkfin is compatible, but you need to get a decent one as the reception can be hit and miss on some of the cheaper ones and you will need to add a 12v power to it from your rear fuse box which is pretty straight forward. RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 25:th-Jun-2016 (25:th-Jun-2016, 13:26:30)stigeye Wrote: The sharkfin is compatible, but you need to get a decent one as the reception can be hit and miss on some of the cheaper ones and you will need to add a 12v power to it from your rear fuse box which is pretty straight forward. Gonna look into that one definately. Need to make sure i get the right one RE: Progress thread - marcus - 25:th-Jun-2016 Nice motor there. I had a choice between a red and white one when I bought mine. Decided on the white in the end. Enjoy. The very dark side repeaters don't allow the indicator light through in the day. Only visible at night. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread - cornishtaz - 25:th-Jun-2016 You could always use some spray tint on the side repeaters RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 25:th-Jun-2016 (25:th-Jun-2016, 20:18:08)cornishtaz Wrote: You could always use some spray tint on the side repeaters Gonna leave them as they are for now see if they grow on me lol RE: Progress thread - hejhopp123 - 26:th-Jun-2016 Well... couldnt see any diffrent, but hope they work. =) Those rims is nice, but costy... almost half a salary from Opel Store. RE: Progress thread - stigeye - 26:th-Jun-2016 You can get after market 18" VXR alloy replicas like those pictured for £399, the 19's are £480. The 19" 10 double spoke VX alloys are about £150 each second hand on eBay. RE: Progress thread - WoZLinGToN - 27:th-Jun-2016 It comes in a spray so I think it would be easier on small details like the letters etc. RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 29:th-Jun-2016 so i had a go at changing colour of
RE: Progress thread - chrisb2511 - 1:st-Jul-2016 Ive painted my front and rear griffin black but just wondering if i should attempt to paint the V and the writing red paint and a fine brush. I ordered a new one on ebay and painted it first. Removed tbe old one and cleaned all the glue off the paintwork. Then put the one i painted on. It has 3m backing and 2 pins that fit into 2 holes ensuring its straight. Job done! |
