Mine had the following chipping issues. These were taken with less than 3000 miles on the clock :eek

Both sides of the car were like this. All the white dots were stone chips.

Front wings

End's of the sills at the start of the rear wheel arches.

Car ended up with a full re-spray back in May 2013. Was really impressed with the body shops work. It took close to 3 weeks to get the car back as they had to wait on some of the window trim to turn up as they was replaced.

Day I collected the car

Car has now done over 20k. And I'm happy to report it is no longer an issue I've not fitted mud flaps etc. as I wanted to make sure they had resolved the issue rather than me hiding it with mud flaps.

Yes all cars will pick up stone chips but before the re-spray my car would pick up chips every time you drove it.

there really is some thing wrong with blue VXR paint that is for sure
shocking it must have cost Vauxhall big time too correct all these VXR paint issues
think they have sorted it now but there were alot of reports of this
but real glad they did sort it out
