Because as you can see I don't have much worktop space, I always put my shopping on the hob (which is turned off all the time), the shopping must have knocked it on and burnt the shopping and then the 24 toilet roles next to the hob, won't be doing that again

well you are going to have to redo the kitchen so when you do get shot of the clock and then you can gain around 200-300mm of worktop space with the relevant unit underneath and above
