Looks like I may have to make a trip. I've been looking into it is it true that it will give me an error for the screen wash and header tank every time I start the car as I don't have them sensors.

RE: Unlock trip computer - sheppy1 - 18:th-Feb-2016

It is true... I had that issue and I had to buy the header tank with the sensor AND have the wire installed and run to the cluster plug to get it working and then I got the washer bottle sensor wire grounded so that it would stop reporting to the cluster... So that solved both my issues

So are the wires there for connecting these sensor up for the header/screen wash bottle. If not how bad was it to do ?

RE: Unlock trip computer - sheppy1 - 18:th-Feb-2016

Well...for me there were already wires in place for the head unit but when I plugged it into the new tank which had the sensor...it didn't change anything! Turns out the wire from a loom near the passenger footwell to the cluster plug itself was missing...I paid Andy from VXMODs (google him he's based at ellesemere port and his job is vauxhall retrofits) 20 quid to do that wiring and ground the washer bottle wire for me as i couldn't be arsed shelling out on the other tank lol

Seems a lot of effort now lol think I will have to stick to the small stuff lol.

@sheppy1 I can turn on MPG you seem to forgetting this lol!!!

I'm based in Bournemouth.

If you don't have sensors in header and washer then that package doesn't get turned on, (not by me unless you request I do it as you plan to fit the sensors).

What display do you have Daz.
