In 2013, when GM announced the new 1.6-litre diesel engine, the company admitted that its real weak point was manual gearboxes, partly because the basic design principle dated from the 1970s. Do really like it myself! Well I like the one on the VX site but that's probably the 20K elite lol. Liking the "new" tech they have it now, such as: Android Auto and Apple Car Play Concierge Wi-Fi Hotspot (Turns your car into a moving hotspot) Also heated seats and steering wheel as standard on the mid range model now too! Still loving my 2.0 cdti too. Be about 4 years before I can afford a 'new' Astra (be second hand of course by then) lmao!
