1.7 CDTI idle unsteady - Jj0063 - 9:th-May-2015 Hi guys So yesterday I drove from Norfolk to West Yorkshire ~150 miles and noticed that now my car is idling a bit odd, will idle fine then the revs drop a little & it almost chugs a bit, then goes back to normal and the car idles ok again, then the cycle starts again. It doesn't cut out and no warning light. I thought it was just doing a regen but it did it yesterday afternoon, evening, and today both times I've driven it. Ive now done probably 40 miles with it like it (that I've noticed) Could it still be a regen? Or EGR? Is there a blank for the EGR on these engines? It's on 105k and is having a cambelt/waterpump on Wednesday so il ask them to look at it if needs be. Cheers Jordan RE: 1.7 CDTI idle unsteady - sheppy1 - 9:th-May-2015 I saw a similar issue with mine for the first time about 2 months back (same 1.7CDTI too). It did it for the whole day while idling but has never done it since then...never figured out why but wouldn't worry about it unless it does it for a few more days in a row...
