Alloy colour change - Rusty2009 - 18:th-Apr-2015

So yesterday I did a test paint to see if the colour I picked for the wheels would suit.

I posted a couple of pics on the Facebook group and did say I'd upload some higher res ones here today.

So what do you think.

They look really smart! Subtle but males a big difference!! I'd be having those on my car if I could! Ha

Just the fun in fully preping the wheel now  almost done on this one ready for full paint up, it's much harder to do with tyres on thou.

Center caps what should I do with them? my thoughts are.

Leave them Carbon flash

Silver (this could lose the VX badge)

I'd leave the centre caps the way they are, nice way to tie in the cars colour

Looks a lot better and yeah I wouldn't touch the caps.

Well I've completed the colour change now to have them re-balanced then I can give them a good coating of wax before putting them back on the car.

Yeah been a busy time so not had chance to look online... to be honest saved me a fortune on not modding lol

Right I've finally made a start compounding polishing and waxing the wheels only 3 to go now.













Once I've done them all they be taken for balancing and then fitted to the car.
