Updated DRL lights - bhalay207 - 5:th-Mar-2015 Hi, My Astra has still not arrived, however driving to work this morning a J came toward me with what looked like OEM DRLs. Would these units fit into my 2012 model (when it arrives) without any issues? Sorry if this has already been asked before. When searching on DRLs it pulls up 1001 results Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 using Tapatalk Updated DRL lights - bhalay207 - 5:th-Mar-2015 bhalay207 Wrote:Hi,I meant to include LED oem DRLs Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 using Tapatalk Updated DRL lights - Rusty2009 - 5:th-Mar-2015 not 100% sure they can be fitted you would need to get the headlamp units and the ballasts, the car may need to be told it has LED DRL's. Updated DRL lights - bhalay207 - 5:th-Mar-2015 Hmm, I think it may need programming but not 100%. These are the lights I mean http://www.chapelhouse.co.uk/img/cms/astra_excite_large.jpg Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 using Tapatalk Updated DRL lights - Rusty2009 - 5:th-Mar-2015 Yes I know what lights you meant it's not been done as of yet, so we can't be 100% sure. It took a long time for the AFL lighting system retrofit to be worked out. Updated DRL lights - bhalay207 - 5:th-Mar-2015 Do you see them being module controlled as opposed to standard LEDs then? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk Updated DRL lights - Rusty2009 - 5:th-Mar-2015 Because they are LEDS they need to ballast to stop any errors. If I'm honest as long as you get the LED headlights and ballasts they should more than likely be plug and play as I don't recall any wiring changes. Updated DRL lights - tucpal - 5:th-Mar-2015 as rusty says you need the factory ballasts as well you also risk the LED lights overheating without them and you dont want that to happen you can retro fit LED bulbs they would be the cheaper option and look much better http://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-HOW-TO-LED-DRL-Error-free-for-the-Astra-J-5-door Updated DRL lights - DE5IRED - 8:th-Mar-2015 I've been meaning to get the hid kit with the white side lights also from lush lighting what do you think ?
