Service AFL Lamp - Rusty2009 - 19:th-Jan-2015 So whenever I drive for anything over 100m with lights on or off when I turn engine off or if the stop/start kicks I get an error message come up on the dash. Service AFL Lamp and the orange AFL lamp stays lit. Once I restart the car the problem goes away. Saturday I had my MDI so when the error came up and was still displayed I plugged it on and there was no fault codes at all. It's really bugging me now as I would like to know why it keeps coming up after long drive (never comes up for any trip under 100m). I can't find anything on TIS about it. Service AFL Lamp - tucpal - 19:th-Jan-2015 were does the AFL and LED DRL lights draw power from when the engine goes off in start stop mode probably they dont like being turned on and off so quick maybe Service AFL Lamp - Rusty2009 - 19:th-Jan-2015 The DRL's draws power from the BCM, The AFL is fuse board. It's just annoying that there is nothing stored fault code wise. It came up when I was turning the steering wheel while putting the car in reverse. I will test my theory out later.
